Our Story

In 2024, we were chosen to to serve within the inaugural Tarrant County Community Doula Program. This grant-funded initiative sponsored by United Way of Tarrant County aims to offer free doula services to those birthing or living in 76104, the zip code with the second-highest maternal mortality rate among Black women in Texas.

As we began to support clients, we noticed how they trusted us to connect them with local resources. Collecting recommendations that fit our clients needs and preferences meant searching for contact info in a variety of different locations. It wasn't long before we began to dream of having a one-stop shop, a single place where parents could find resource providers from pregnancy through parenthood.

Maternal Resource Oasis is more than just a directory; it is a hub of connection and support. By offering paid listings for resource providers, the platform ensures that only vetted and trusted resource providers are featured, giving parents peace of mind when seeking support during this transformative time in their lives.
